About this event

The third in this year's King’s Health Partners Primary Care Webinar series will focus on; 'Long-COVID: Where are we now?

The webinar will be chaired by Dr Rachna Chowla, Joint Director of Clinical Strategy, King's Health Partners and introduced by Dr Jonty Heaversedge, Clinical Chair, South East London Clinical Commissioning Group.

During this webinar we will explore, with experts in Long-COVID, what we have learnt over the last 2 years. We are delighted that Dr Melissa Heightman, Consultant Physician and Clinical Lead of post COVID-19 services, University College London Hospital/North Central London CCG and National Specialty Adviser to the Long-COVID program NHSE, will be speaking and we will also hear from Dr Avril Washington, Consultant Paediatrician who has lived experience of Long-COVID in both herself and as a carer for a family member. We will introduce Dr Jen Liddington, SEL’s Long-COVID Education Champion, who will discuss plans for future education events in SEL to support Primary Care in supporting people living with Long-COVID.

This will be an online event via MS Teams. The session will be recorded for later viewing on the King's Health Partners learning hub.
